Rather than allowing open access, DataBiz Solutions require all users to login in order to use our applications. To match the correct User with the correct data, we pre-populate our database with email addresses and contact numbers which are provided by your Organisation (e.g. your school or club).
Click on 'Request a New Password' - this activates a popup form to register.
New Users will need to provide their email address, to which a Password will be sent. If you never provided your Organisation with your email address, try the combination of your contact number and email address instead. This saves your email address for future use. A new password will be generated and sent to that email address.
Existing Users (i.e. those that have used our system before) just need to populate the email field (on the left of the form). A new password will be generated and sent to that email address.
Returning to the login form, populate that form with your email address and your new password to log in.
My email / contact number is not recognised.
Try requesting a password with just your email address, then with your email address and contact number. If neither possibility works for you, your Organisation secretary / administrator will be able to tell you what data is on record for you and add or amend as necessary. Be aware also that it may be the contact details of a spouse or partner. It is possible to have multiple User accounts accessing the same data should you so wish it.
Please note that our data is refreshed annually, and so is subject to change.
My email address is correct, but I can't log in.
In almost every case, this is due to one of two factors:
You are trying to login from a place of work, where a security firewall is preventing your login details from being submitted.
You are trying to login using an older device, or an out-of-date browser. In the case of the latter, please note that we will not be extending support to such software in the future. You can (and should!) update your browser as soon as possible.
Of course, if you are confident that neither of the above cases applies to you, please do let us know (please remember to include the name of your school and your enrolled children).
I never provided my Organisation with my email address or mobile number.
If your Organisation does not have that information, then neither does DataBiz Solutions. Without such data, we cannot match you to account information, nor provide you with a login.
Your Organisation's secretary / administrator will be able to add your email address for you, at which point you can register for a Password.
I never received my Registration email.
While we can tell if an email was sent, it is impossible to tell if an email was received. There are a myriad of reasons as to why one email address did not receive an email when another does.
Check your Spam / Trash folder (and mark as not Spam if found).
Check your email client's spam settings, and its default methods for dealing with suspected messages.
Have you previously registered? Your email may not be on record, or may be mis-spelled. Check with your Organisation secretary / administrator that the email address on record for you is correct.
When you have tried all of the above, feel free to contact us to help you access our system (please remember to include the name of your school and your enrolled children).
Who else knows my Password?
No one. Your password is stored in a one-way encrypted format, so even DataBiz Solutions employees cannot know what it is. So, if you forget your password, just request a new one.
How can I change my Password?
Once you log in, you will be on our Application Selection screen. Click on the 'Credentials' link (top right of your screen) to update your password.
Can I change my email?
Not at the moment. We are currently trialing our system, and as that phase continues we will add greater functionality for Users to control their information. Your Organisation secretary / administrator can do so for you however.
What is my contact information used for?
DataBiz Solutions has only two purposes for your contact information:
To match a unique User with appropriate data (so when you login, you see your relevant information).
To allow your Organisation to contact you with appropriate email or SMS notifications, related to our systems.
We do not use your information for any form of advertising, and we do not share your information with any third party ever.
